Our story
When we lost our own pets, the grief was expected. What we did not expect was how hard the rest would be: being rushed, being unsure what anything cost, and wondering whether the ashes we received were really theirs.
So we asked ourselves what we would want if we could design the service from scratch. The answer became Kindred Spirits Pets: a pet cremation service built on honesty, dignity and care.
We are based in Sydney and collect from homes and vet clinics across the city. As we grow, the promise stays the same: you will never feel rushed, confused about cost or uncertain about your pet’s care.
What you can expect from us

We answer at any hour
Pets do not pass away during business hours. A real person answers the phone at 2 am just as at 2 pm.

You know the price first
Our prices are published, they include GST, and we confirm the full cost before anything is arranged.

Your pet is never mixed with another
With individual cremation, your pet carries their own identification from collection to delivery, and you receive a signed certificate.

You do not need to go anywhere
We collect your pet from home or your vet and bring the ashes back to your door.

Gentle on the earth too
Biodegradable urns are available for families who would like to return the ashes to nature.
